We’ve infused this little beauty with powerful antioxidant ingredients of Wheatgrass, Green Tea, Alfalfa, and Parsley (just to name a few).

If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m pretty obsessed with antioxidants. I think they’re so under-utilised, and there are such specific antioxidant botanicals (which are also usually anti-inflammatory in one way or another) which go perfectly in every product, from cleansers to serums.

When I’m helping people at The Acne & Eczema Clinic, I lean heavily on antioxidant support where there is a lot of redness and inflammation, especially in blemish-prone skin. I find those with fairer skin who are more likely to get pigmentation respond well to antioxidants, and I’ve always looked for ways to get more of them into every step of the skincare routine.

Because antioxidants are so helpful for all skin types, I find this Renew Antioxidant Gel Cleanser works well on all skins.

I keep this in my skincare routine all year round, and I always use my Restore Botanical Cream Cleanser for my last cleanse of the night to suit my skin type.

Cleansing is a must-do morning and night, to remove dirt and micro-organisms from your face. Use a 10-cent piece size or 2 pumps of cleanser and lather to create a light foam. Cleanse face in gentle circular motions, then rinse with water. Double cleanse at night to remove makeup, sunscreen, and deeper, dirtier particles.

If using our reusable silicone cleansing pad, you can pump the Cleanser directly onto the pad.

TIP: We find two to three pumps of cleanser is the best amount for the first cleanse of the evening, or where you’re cleansing to remove product/pollution or makeup. One pump of cleanser is the perfect amount for the second cleanse, or if there is no need to remove product or makeup.

Recommendations: Although designed for mature and combination skin types, this is the perfect cleanser for the person that doesn’t know what their skin needs. It’s hydrating, it’s protective, it’s not too stripping or harsh, and it’s not thick and creamy. Gel Cleansers give that normal clean fresh feeling you expect after cleansing, whereas Cream Cleansers can feel too thick for some people’s preference. If you’re new to all of this, or not sure what to pick, this is the one that’ll please you no matter who you are.
